Carbonique

1993 black ApHC mare

(Devil's Graphite JC x SLS Breezin' Bar)

Carbonique is a solid black 16 hh app/TB cross mare. Her sire is a successful eventing horse (never raced), her TB grandsire, *Jizan, is imported from Ireland. Many of the TB's in her extended pedigree are timber horses. Her babies have earned her a 3rd at Maryland State Fair 1998 in a large Produce of Dam class, Non-TB Hunter Breeding. She is a tremendously powerful and agile mare for her size. Her foals lean toward the jumper/eventing type and come powerfully enough from behind to do well in dressage.

Carbie has now had five foals for us. She produces 100% big hair on her babies foal coats...you CAN"T show them till they shed...trust me! Heavy manes and tails are included at no extra charge...

If you prefer a little more body and substance on your horses, this is the dam for you.

2001 - Wap's Foolishly Dun

(Wap's Applause x Carbonique)

Filly - dun with a large star and four white coroonets

Folly was injured in the fall and has now recovered. We have decided to place her as a pleasure riding horse only. Please contact us for details.

"Folly" is a heavy duty dun filly with plenty of body, a nicely laid back shoulder and an attractive head. Just look at the bone and substance of this girl...balances naturally over the haunches. She is shedding around the eyes and is a dark grulla under all that pale fuzz. Sclera and striped feet, mottled skin and developing color....born on April Fool's Day...

(Wap's Applause x Carbonique)

SOLD

Congratulations to Jane and Alex Scheid of Oregon....

This filly has plenty of bone and substance. Should easily mature at 16:1 or 16:2hh. She is friendly, pleasant ...showing me a very decent trot, long stride and good suspension at the canter. Tremendous set of legs on her, dead correct. This is turning out to be one handsome filly...new photos soon.

(Wap's Applause x Carbonique)

This fellow was sold before we could shed and show him. He has become MUCH darker, near black and has a pleasant laid back attitude like a little old man! "Spunky" has a wonderful trot and changed leads automatically from day one.

...Showing with his new owners: First time out...

Petticodiac Maritime Provinces Appaloosa Association - Canada, 1999

It's a mighty tough job to go grand champion with a weanling! Well done!

Wap's HoldTheApplause will be standing to outside mares in 2002. Please contact Julie McNeil for more information on this handsome colt.

This filly has a forward reaching trot and a really nice attitude. She shows good form over fences while free jumping and seems to really enjoy it. She is bold, confident, and one of very few black and white daughters of Wap's Spot 2. We've taken her to a total of 2 shows!
