Heronhaven Appaloosa Sporthorses

Ag Progress Days 2000

As part of the Dressage Freestyle demonstration given by Harmonic Progressions, I was invited to bring some of my sport horse babies and talk to the crowd about the differences between a good moving hunter versus a good moving dressage prospect.

The foals enjoyed their time in the ring and everyone involved had a wonderful time!

They're off and running! This filly apparently enjoys the wide open spaces...

Find the colt in the stall...if you can...

Starz was covered with small children all day...and really ate up the attention! What a ham...

What a nice moving filly! (the horse, not me!) I really wonder how John Lyons manages to run and talk at the same time...

Although Diesel has been retired from the ring for several years and has become my schoolmaster for dressage students, he put in a cameo appearance with a freestyle ride to the strains of Duke Ellington, and participated in the opening processional.

Diesel is a 16hh Appaloosa/grade gelding who I have trained and shown in dressage from training level up to present, some cross country, a fox hunting clinic, open jumping, leadline, you name it...he's done it and done it well...

What a nice guy...
